Four army road blocks have been set-up in Vavuniya upon a tip-off received by security forces on 20 suspicious vehicles which were travelling from the South to the North.
It is reported that these road blocks have been set-up since yesterday with the motive of covering a large area in Vavuniya. Vehicles entering and leaving Vavuniya will be subjected to an extensive search at these road blocks.
The number plates of these vehicles have been put on display at these checkpoints in order to keep the public aware of such vehicles.
