Fourteen Indian nationals who overstayed their visas have been arrested by Immigration officials today (Jul 8).
It is reported that among the group twelve Indian nationals had been employed as construction workers at a hotel in Aluthgama while on tourist visas.
A further two individuals from the group had remained in the country using resident visas.
The suspects are being questioned at the Mirihana detention centre.
