Free travel for buses along expressways on May Day

Passenger transport buses will be allowed to travel toll free along the expressways on May 1, Minister of Highways and Higher Education Lakshman Kiriella told Parliament today. 

The Minister said the decision was made following requests by many political parties, who plan on using the expressways to transport busloads of crowds to various May Day rallies held around the country.
