Galle Face and Lotus Roundabout closed off due to protest
The entry road to Galle Face from Lotus Roundabout has been closed off due to a protest by the differently-abled tri-forces and police pensioners,local media reported.
Disabled soldiers and army officers are protesting against the current army pension procedure. They also staged a fast in front of the Fort Railway Station in Julyover the issue. Motorists have been requested to use alternative routes.
