Gas leak causes fire at eatery in Weeraketiya

News

A gas leak resulted in a fire at a private eatery opposite the Rajapaksha Central College in Weeraketiya today (Jul 26), Police said.

No casualties had been reported as a result of the fire, Police noted adding that the shop had been damaged due to the incident.

The fire had been doused by the Tangalle Fire Brigade along with the assistance of area residents.
