A geofencing system will be implemented to prevent students from using electronic devices during examinations, the Examinations Department said today (Apr 17).
These systems would be installed across major exam centres during the G.C.E Ordinary Level and Advanced Level exams this year with the assistance of the Special Task Force (STF) and the Army.
A geofencing system would be able to detect the usage of electronic devices through signals generated by devices when used within the demarcated area allocated for the system.
