The Government Medical Officers' Association (GMOA) has decided to launch an island-wide token strike tomorrow from 8.00 am.
During a press briefing, the GMOA said that a cabinet paper rectifying salary anomalies had been forwarded to the Treasury for observations.
They noted that the proposal had neglected the salary schemes of doctors.
Meanwhile, he GMOA threatened to continue trade union action next week if the cabinet decides to go ahead with the proposal.
