President Maithripala Sirisena today brought the Department of Government Printing under the purview of the Ministry of Defence.
In a Gazette issued a short while ago, the Government Printer and powers relating to Government printing and publication was brought under the Defence Ministry which comes under the President.
It was done by way of an Extraordinary Gazette notification issued a short while ago.
