Governor Salley calls for resignation of political appointees in WPC authorities

Western Province Governor Azath Salley has called for the resignation of nearly 37 political appointees who are attached to various authorities of the Western Provincial Council (WPC).

The Governor had requested these officers to resign from their position since the the tenure of theWPC ended on April 20, a statement from the Governor's office said.

These officers are attached to the Waste Management Authority, Tourist Board, Provincial Road Development Authority, Industrial Development Authority, Information Technology Resource Development Institution, Western Province Aesthetic Resort and Agro Service Authority.
