Cabinet has approved to purchase paddy at a minimum certified price of Rs 50 per kilogram of paddy with recommended moisture level during the Maha season.
It has also been decided to purchase a kilogram of paddy which is above the recommended moisture level at Rs 45.
The moves are part of the Government accelerated programme to purchase paddy during the Maha Season.
