The government will call for bids this week for the implementation of the 'Suraksha' Students Insurance Scheme next year, a senior Education Ministry official said.
The official noted that the Education Ministry will improvise the insurance scheme and ensure that all school students are benefitted through the programme.
The 'Suraksha' Insurance Scheme was introduced under the previous government to provide compensation and relief to school students in the event of any illnesses or demise of their parents.
