The Government will take into consideration next month the possibility of revising fuel prices in view of the current trend of world fuel prices dropping, State Minister Shehan Semasinghe said.
He said that since last month the prices have been showing a downward trend and if it continues, the government will be in a position to pass on the benefit to the people.
He said despite previous price increases in the world market the government was able to provide fuel at the same prices without an increase.
The demand for fuel has reduced in view of the spread of the Coronavirus (CORVID 19)
