The Ministry of Defence has announced a grace period to hand over unlicensed firearms.
In a media release, the Ministry noted that the grace period will be in effect from February 5 to 12. Accordingly, anyone in possession of such unlicensed weapons can hand them over to the nearest police station during this grace period.
