An unidentified gunman opened fire at a house in Andigama of the Puttalam district today (26) morning causing damaged to the house, police said.
Three persons were in the house at the time of the incident, but no persons were injured in the attack which took place at 2.30 a.m.
The house is owned by a three-wheeler driver.
The reason for the attack was not known immediately.
The owner of the house said he had heard a motorcycle going pass his place at the time of the attack.
