The Haldummulla Divisional Secretary who was arrested over an assault was released on bail yesterday (Jun 21).
Chamil Indika, the suspect was released on two surety bails of Rs 100,000 and a cash bail of Rs 5000 by the Bandarawela Magistrate's Court.
Indika was arrested for forcefully entering a person's house and assaulting him in the Haldummulla area.
