Hand grenades found in Kuliyapitiya

Three hand grenades hidden inside an ice-cream container have been recovered by police from the Hettipola area in Kuliyapitiya. 

The grenades were recovered following a tip-off. 

Steps have been taken to defuse the explosives and further investigations are ongoing.
