A hardware shop owner in Dehiwala was stabbed to death by an unidentified person yesterday (Jun 24), police said.
The victim has been identified as a 63-year old resident of Nedimala by the name of Abdul Azeez. He is a father of three.
According to the police, the victim had been stabbed while he was having lunch at his shop.
He had succumbed to his injuries while being taken to the Kalubowila Teaching Hospital.
