Helicopters will be deployed around the clock to monitor and arrest instigators of violence, Air Force said today (May 15).
The motive of this exercise is to restore normalcy in the country, Air Force Spokesman Group Captain Gihan Seneviratne explained.
He noted that aerial photographs of persons who cause unrest will be captured by these helicopters.
Meanwhile, a Special Police Team from Colombo has also been appointed and tasked with apprehending individuals who commit violence.
