Hesha Withanage granted bail over fraud case

United National Party (UNP) parliamentarian Hesha Withanage has been released on a surety bail of Rs 100,000 over a fraud case by the Embilipitiya Magistrate's Court today (Oct 1).

An arrest warrant had been issued on Withanage, after he failed to appear before court, for allegedly misuing property worth Rs 20 million owned by a businessman in Embilipitiya.
