Former Governor M L A M Hizbullah has left the Terrorist Investigation Division (TID) after recording a statement for nearly eight-hours today (Jun 15).
Mr. Hizbullah had arrived at around 9:45 am and had left the TID at around 5:30 pm, Police Spokesman Ruwan Gunasekara said.
He had arrived to record a statement regarding an incident in which he had met two Saudi nationals at a hotel in Kalkudah while a curfew was in effect.
The meeting had taken place at 10 pm on April 22.
