Jomon Joseph Edathala, Honorary Consul General of Sri Lanka in Kerala, died in Kochi. He was 43. Jomon had been admitted to a private hospital following a cerebral haemorrhage he suffered two weeks ago, the Times of India reported.
He passed away at around 6 am on Friday (Oct 12). He is the first honorary consul of Sri Lanka in Kerala and had been in office since 2013.
