JVP MP Vijitha Herath has said that an impeachment motion can be brought against President Maithripala Sirisena as he has been found guilty following the Supreme Court’s verdict today.
"The President should now appoint the Prime Minister who commands the majority in the House, " MP Herath told media while adding that the country would plunge into a deeper crisis if it is not done so.
