Th Army yesterday handed over newly built homes to low income families in Puloli, Point Pedro and Jaffna.
A project that was begin by the Army in 2009 soon after the war ended, is being continued with the support of donors, said Major General Ruwan Vanigasuriya SF Commander, Jaffna district.
One of these houses costs between 8-10 laks owing to the manpower provided by the Army. There are 27 more houses in the process of built in several areas in the Jaffna district.
