In Pictures : Cleanup operation at Muthurajawela oil spill
A leak in a pipeline carrying oil to the Muthurajawela Oil Refinery Complex has caused severe pollution along the beach stretch where hundreds of Navy, Coast Guard and Army personnel are currently being deployed in a clean up operation.
