The year 2021 has arrived amid the COVID-19 pandemic that is still sweeping the world. Strict health guidelines that are being enforced to minimise the spread of the disease meant that crowds at places of religious worship were less than usual this year.
Nevertheless, some devotees did give priority to religious observances while adhering to health guidelines. These images were taken at the Gangaramaya Temple in Colombo today.
