In preparation for the reopening of schools in four stages from June 29, the Sri Lanka Police, Colombo Fire Brigade and the Colombo Municipal Council have commenced a programme to subject schools in the city to a cleanup and a disinfection process.
Schools will start opening at the end of this month after being closed for more than three months following the outbreak of COVID-19 in the country.
