President Gotabaya Rajapaksa visited Thambuththegama Economic Center yesterday (Dec 23).
During his visit, the President had inspected the prices of commodities and their quality.
He had also met with the traders and the public to inquire about the shortcomings of the economic centre, the President's Office said in a statement.
The President had emphasised the importance of maintaining the economic centre to supply high quality goods and to provide benefits to the public.
