President Maithripala Sirisena who took wing to India on a private visit today was welcomed at the Tirupathi temple this afternoon.
Executive Officers of the Temple Anil Kumar Singhal and Sreenivasa Raju had welcomed the President upon his visit to the temple after touching down at the Renigunta Airport.
Mr. Sirisena will stay at the Patmavati Guest House in Tirumala tonight before engaging in Suprabatham - a religious ritual tomorrow (Apr 17).
