Inaugural SLPP_SLFP alliance meeting today

The inaugural meeting of the newly formed Sri Lanka Nidahas Podujana Sandanaya (SLNPS) will take place at Temple Trees today (18) under the patronage of SLNPS Leader, Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa. The meeting will see representatives of the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) and Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) along with other alliance parties meeting together for the first time.

SLFP Senior Deputy Chairman Prof Rohana Luksman Piyadasa said several issues, including the appointment of the post of national organizer for the party, district organizers and electoral organizers as well as the criteria for giving nominations to candidates are due to be discussed at this meeting.
