Chief of the Army Staff of the Indian Army General Dalbir Singh PVSM, UYSM, AVSM, VSM, ADC, arrives in Sri Lanka today, together with a five-member delegation at the invitation of his Sri Lankan counterpart, Lt. Gen. Crishanthe De Silva, local media reported. During the five-day stay here, General Dalbir Singh is expected to pay courtesy calls on Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces President Maithripala Sirisena, Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe, the State Minister of Defence, Secretary to Ministry of Defence, High Commissioner of India, Field Marshal Sarath Fonseka, Chief of Defence Staff, Commanders of the Navy and Air Force and visit several military establishments in Kandy, Galle and Anuradhapura as part of his itinerary in the island, the report said.
