An individual who maintained close links with the suicide bombers who which carried out the Easter Sunday attacks was arrested in Wattala, today (May 13).
The suspect, identified as Mohamed Rizwan was taken into custody in the Mabola area in Wattala by the Intelligence Unit of the Western Province.
Meanwhile, curfew will not be re-imposed in the island today provided the situation continues to remain calm, Police Spokesman Ruwan Gunasekara said.
