Indonesian President arrives on official visit

Indonesian President Joko Widodo arrived in Sri Lanka a short while ago on a two-day official visit.

The Indonesian President arrived in the country following an invitation extended by President Maithripala Sirisena. 

President Widodo will be accorded a ceremonial welcome with a guard of honour and a 21 gun salute at the Presidential Secretariat this evening. 

Seven Memoranda of Understanding are due to be signed between the two countries during the Indonesian President's visit.
