The Inland Revenue Department employees today staged a protest against the promotion procedure adopted claiming that it bypassed public Service Commission regulations.
The protest was held outside the IRB headoffice in Colombo.
In a significant move the GMOA members who have called for s strike later this week were seen at the protest.
