An Iranian national has been arrested at the Bandaranaike International Airport today (Jan 31) over the possession of a narcotic identified as 'Kush'.
The suspect, a woman aged 24, was arrested by the Police Narcotics Bureau at the airport when she arrived from Qatar today.
She had allegedly attempted to smuggle 400 grams of the said narcotic into the country.
Police are conducting further investigations into the arrest.
