The countrywide curfew which was imposed at 9 pm yesterday, was lifted at 4 am today, the Police Media Spokesman's Office said.
The curfew in the Gampaha district was lifted at 6 am, a release from the Spokesman's office read.
Meanwhile, the police curfew in the North Western Province will be in effect until further notice, Police added.
