Jaffna’s cinema halls struggle for viewers

Some cinema halls in northern Jaffna have reduced their ticket fare after the Easter Sunday attacks. Reason: Few people are patronising cinemas. 

Cinemas have reduced the fare to Rs. 300 from Rs. 500. In some cases, shows have been cancelled due to poor crowds. (NP)
