Former Sri Lankan Ambassador to the US, Jaliya Wickramasuriya, who was arrested by the Police Financial Crimes Investigation Division (FCID) was remanded till December 2 after being produced before the Colombo Fort Magistrate today.
Mr. Wickramasuriya had been taken into custody over alleged misuse of state funds.
