Former Minister Janaka Bandara Tennakoon who was arrested and remanded in connection with an incident, which took place in 1999, was granted bail by the Kandy High Court (HC)yesterday.
High Court Judge released Mr. Tennakoon on a surety of Rs. 1 million and a cash bail of Rs. 500,000. He was ordered to report to the CID every Sunday.
