Former Minister Johnston Fernando was granted bail today by the Colombo Chief Magistrate over a case filed by the Bribery and Corruption Commission. He was charged by the commission that he failed to declare his assests.
A Sri Lankan man was apprehended at Suvarnabhumi airport for attempting to smuggle wildlife out of the country after three ball pythons were found hidden in his underwear, the Bangkok post reported.
