Joint Opposition lodges complaint with Bribery Commission over Central Bank bond issue

Joint Opposition (JO) Parliamentarians today lodged a complaint at the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery/Corruption against Prime Minister Wickremesinghe and former Central Bank Governor Arjuna Mahendran over the Central Bank bond issue.

The joint opposition MPs requested the Bribery Commission to investigate the controversial bond issue alongside Perpetual Treasuries, the company allegedly involved in the scam.
