Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP) politburo member K D Lalkantha who was arrested over a drunk driving accident has been remanded until March 14.
This was announced when he was produced before the Anuradhapura Magistrates Court today (Mar 02).
Mr. Lalkantha was arrested by the Anuradhapura police yesterday after his vehicle collided with two women who were on a motorcycle, leaving one critically injured.
