Mohamed Kamar Nizamdeen who was arrested on charges of Terrorism and later cleared of charges involving an alleged assasination plot of two Australian politicans, has condemned the Australian Federal Police (AFP) for its handling of the investigation.
"The method in which the AFP conducted themselves was completely immature, unprofessional, irresponsible, embarrassing, and biased to say the least," Mr. Nizamdeen said at a press briefing in Colombo.
Mr. Nizamdeen was accused of plotting the assasination of former Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull and his then-deputy Julie Bishop.
Mr Nizamdeen said he continually told investigators that the handwriting in the notebook was not his.
He was cleared of all charges on October 19.
