Kandy Teaching Hospital to be declared as national hospital
The Kandy Teaching Hospital is to be upgraded as a national hospital, after cabinet approval had been granted this week.
An individual in the position of Deputy Director General will be appointed as the Director of the hospital.
Health Minister Rajitha Senaratne had tabled a proposal to this effect.
