Underworld criminal 'Kanjipaani Imran' has been further remanded until August 7 by the Colombo Chief Magistrate's court today (Jun 26).
The suspect was produced for examination by the Colombo Crimes Division (CCD) before court today.
The CCD told court they were detaining the suspect and carrying out a questioning after obtaining an order from the Defence Secretary.
Police had previously told court that 27 cases have been filed against Kanjipaani Imran for committing, plotting and abetting murders.
Court instructed the suspect to appear for another examination on August 7.
