Alleged underworld criminal M N Mohamed Imran alias 'Kanjipaani Imran', accused of threatening a police officer, has been further remanded until January 17.
The order was issued by Colombo Chief Magistrate Lanka Jayaratne when the case was taken up for hearing today (Jan 7).
'Kanjipaani Imran' is alleged to have threatened a Police Inspector demanding to release a suspect who had been arrested over a narcotic offence in Keselwatte.
