All faculties at the Kelaniya University have been closed except for the Medical Faculty, the University announced today (May 30).
Accordingly, academic activities at the faculties will be temporarily suspended until further notice.
The decision to close the university was taken since certain students had objected to some security measures which were in place at the university.
