A court order has been issued today (Sept 18) to bury the remains of the bomber who attacked the Kingsbury Hotel in Colombo on Easter Sunday, at the Borella cemetery.
Colombo Fort Magistrate Ranga Dissanayake had issued this order to the Thimbirigasyaya divisional secretary after the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) had informed that the investigations into the bomber had concluded.
The bomber has been identified as M.A. Mohamed Mubarak.
Meanwhile, another individual identified as Ahmed Arshad, has been remanded until October 2, over charges of allegedly abetting the Easter Sunday terrorist bombings.
