Korea hospital fire: SL embassy following up

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that the Sri Lankan Embassy in Seoul is following up on a major fire that had ripped through a hospital in South Korea to check whether any Sri Lankan nationals had been caught up in the disaster. 

No further information is available at this time, the Ministry added. 

At least 41 people are confirmed to have died and more than 70 others injured after a fire swept through a hospital in the Sejong Hospital in the south-eastern city of Miryang.
