Member of the Frontline Socialist Party (FSP), Kumar Gunaratnam, has been further remanded again till March 14, after being produced at the Kegalle Magistrate’s Court today.
Kumar Gunaratnam alias ‘Kumara Mahaththaya’ who possesses the Australian citizenship, was arrested at his mother’s home in the Anguruwawila area in Kegalle on November 4 last year by the Kegalle Police, for staying in the country in violation of Immigration and Emigration laws without a Visa.
He was later handed over to the Controller of Immigration and Emigration to seek a Court order for his deportation.
