A family of five Sri Lankan nationals were found stranded by Indian fishermen off Arichal Munai in Dhanushkodi,PTI reported. The Indian coast guard and coastal marine police have been informed, they said.
It was not known how the family got stranded or whether were dropped by ferry operators at the fifth sand dune while transporting them to Rameswaram from Talaimannar. Indian Police said they would be brought to Rameswaram.
